Scioto Downs qualifying, draw schedule

Columbus, OH — The first qualifying session at Eldorado Scioto Downs will be on Sunday (May 8) starting at 1 p.m. The box will close in one week, on Friday (May 6) at 11 a.m.

“After this first session, qualifying days will move to Saturdays at 1:15 p.m.,” said Jason Roth, Scioto’s Director of Racing. “Then, when the 2-year-olds start qualifying, qualifiers will be held on Monday afternoons.”

All qualifying sessions will be on RTN through streaming services, such as Roku, Amazon FireStick and online at www.rtn.tv.

The first draw for live racing will be on Monday (May 9). The draw schedule, with the box closing at 11 a.m., will be as follows:

Monday for Thursday – clear board on Tuesday by 1:30 p.m.
Tuesday for Friday and Saturday – clear board on Wednesday for both days by 1:30 p.m.
Friday for Tuesday – clear board on Saturday by 1:30 p.m.
Saturday for Wednesday  – clear board on Monday by 12:30 p.m.

The 90-day live racing season will start on Thursday (May 12) and continue through Saturday (Sept. 17). All live racing days will have a 3:15 p.m. first post. A complete racing schedule can be found here.
