Seventh Secret leads Devaux six-pack at Saratoga

Saratoga Springs, NY — Seventh Secret recorded his third Open Pace victory of the season at Saratoga Casino Hotel on Saturday night (Nov. 18), when he scored a coast-to-coast 1:53.1 win as the 8-5 favorite.

Driver Jimmy Devaux blasted the 12-year-old Allamerican Native gelding off the car early, and the pair sizzled through a :27 first quarter before coasting through middle fractions of :56.3 and 1:25 without facing a challenge. Seventh Secret drew off in the stretch to decisively beat pocket rival Uncle Jord A (Shawn Gray) by 3-1/4 lengths. Talking Tom (Chris Long) finished third.
