Chester, PA — The first sustaining payment will be due on Saturday, March 15, for all of Harrah’s Chester’s early closing events, which include the Ben Franklin FFA Pace, Battle of the Brandywine 3-year-old pace, Colonial 3-year-old trot, Valley Forge 3-year-old filly pace, Betsy Ross FFA mare pace and Maxie Lee Memorial FFA trot.

Payments must be postmarked by 12:00 midnight on March 15.

A total of 445 horses initially nominated to the early closers.

The 2008 racing season gets underway on Sunday, April 20, with the eliminations for the Betsy Ross.
