Scioto Downs Next Generation races Saturday featured on Fox Sports
For the third straight year, the four $150,000 divisions of The Next Generation for freshmen Ohio Sired horses will be featured on FOX Sports as part of New York Racing Association’s series America’s Day at the Races. The show will air on Saturday (July 4) from 7:30-11:00 p.m. and will also include races from The Meadowlands.

The seventh annual Next Generation for pacers and sixth annual Next Generation for trotters are coming up Saturday (July 4) at Eldorado Scioto Downs. Each of the four divisions for freshmen have a $150,000 purse.
Next Generation nomination deadline June 15
Nominations are still open for the Next Generation events for Ohio-sired 2-year-olds, but time is running out! Those interested in securing a spot can make a $12,000 nomination by Monday, June 15. The Next Generation for all four 2-year-old divisions will be held Saturday, July 4.
Next Generation buy-ins due
Nominations are due starting Wednesday (April 15) for the $150,000 est. Next Generation events, to be held at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Saturday, July 4. If less than 10 (10) $8,000 entries are received by April 15, the nominations will stay open with a $10,000 nomination fee due May 15.
Saturday Scioto card offers over $1 million for Ohio-sired horses
Saturday (July 5) will feature a large card for Ohio-sired horses, with purses topping $1 million for the in-state horses competing at Eldorado Scioto Downs.
