Columbus, OH — The U.S. Trotting Association has announced it has retained the services of Jim Brennan as a field investigator.

Jim Brennan
His responsibilities will be to perform integrity-related functions in an effort to expose activity detrimental to harness racing, and thus maintain and bolster public confidence in our sport.
Brennan is a native of Lewiston, Maine. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. He retired from the City of Baltimore (Md.) Police Department, after having being shot by a sniper while in the line of duty. He is also a former district court magistrate for the State of Maryland, in Baltimore County, and a former director of security at a university in Maine.
For the past 26 years, Brennan has worked as an agent and investigator for the Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau, which is headquartered in Fair Hill, Md., and for the past 13 years had been assigned as an investigator with Standardbred Investigative Services.
Brennan began his duties immediately.
