Wednesday’s onGait.com auctions led by Kayla’s Playmate at $35,100

Boca Raton, FL — Kayla’s Playmate, a finalist in Tuesday’s Weiss Memorial at Pocono, topped the onGait.com Wednesday auctions when she sold for $35,100 to Josh Green of Delaware.

Consigned by Andy Miller Stable and Caroll Huffman, the Father Patrick 3-year-old filly sports a 2-year-old mark of 1:57.4f.

Social Theories p,3,1:54h, a 4-year-old son of Bettor’s Delight, was purchased by Brandon Presto of Pennsylvania for $34,200. Millar Farms of Stouffille, Ontario was the seller.

Also on Wednesday, Degrom Z Tam brought a winning bid of $17,300 from Beau Martuscello of New York. The 4-year-old by Rockin Image was sold by Two For One Stable of Indiana.

And on Tuesday, Aquaman Hanover p,3,1:54f moved to the Nick DeVita barn after Eric Prevost of Florida was the high bidder at $33,100 on the 3-year-old Somebeachsomewhere gelding.

Among the horses presently in the ring are Mad Man Hill p,3,1:52.4f, a Somebeachsomewhere 3-year-old racing Saturday afternoon at The Meadows and American Cheer p,1:52.1f, a daughter of American Ideal with $46,908 earned in 2021.
