Pompano Beach, FL — Yankee Frisbee ($4.00) was the lone three-year-old racing against older horses and also looking to add on to his six race winning streak at Pompano Park on Friday in the ninth race trot. The gelded son of Conway Hall did not disappoint. Trained and driven by Bruce Ranger, Yankee Frisbee got mailed home with a perfect two hole trip behind race favorite and pacesetter, Midgie (Wally Hennessey) in scoring a one and one-quarter length victory in 1:58.2. Savage Hall (Marc Aubin) was third. Fred Monteleone of Pompano Beach owns Yankee Frisbee, who was unraced as a two-year and broke stride in his pari-mutuel debut this year at Rockingham Park back in August before reeling off his seven straight wins. Susan M ($6.20) brought an abrupt end to Long Affair N’s four race winning streak with her victory in the seventh race pace. Driven by Wally Hennessey, Susan M posted her fifth win of the year by one and one-half lengths in 1:55.3. 11-1 Buttons ‘N Bows (Marc Aubin) was second and Long Affair N (George Napolitano, Jr.) finished third. Susan M is trained by Rod Lorenzo and owned by Gerrie Tucker of Montreal, Quebec. Glors Boys seeks third straight Glors Boys goes for his third straight win in the Open Handicap Pace at Pompano Park on Saturday. Trained by Jake Huff and driven by Bruce Ranger, Glors Boys has won his last two starts from both on and off the pace, the fastest victory a lifetime mark of 1:51.3 two starts back.
