Since her arrival from Yonkers Raceway in late November, Jody has done good work at the Meadowlands, and Friday night (Jan. 13) she won her second straight at the mile oval, taking the $20,000 feature, a TrackMaster 86.75 or less pace for fillies and mares.

Despite not racing at two, Zanetti has consistently shown throughout his career that he has a lot of talent if they could get him to focus. Focus is what he has done in 2023, kicking off his 7-year-old season with two straight victories at MGM Northfield Park, a streak he looks to extend on Sunday (Jan. 15).

Waitforever N continued to assert herself as the top distaff pacer at MGM Northfield Park, earning her third straight victory in Friday’s (Jan. 13) $18,000 Filly and Mare Open.

The GSY Series took to the Meadowlands in Friday’s (Jan. 13) first race, and the result was anything but unlucky for In Nevada N and Bruno Chiodo.

Backstreet Shadow showed his class in Thursday’s (Jan. 12) $27,500 Blue Hen/Open Handicap Pace at Bally’s Dover, coasting to a 1:50.4 score on a sloppy but speed-favoring track.

Rocknroll Shelli had one start at Batavia Downs the final week of meet last December, where interference may have caused her a more favorable placing. Now after hitting the board in two consecutive outings at the Meadowlands, the 5-year-old mare returned to Genesee County to claim her first win of 2023 in the $13,000 Open I Distaff Handicap Pace over a rain-soaked track at Batavia Downs on Thursday (Jan. 12).

After being used hard for the lead in a torrid three-wide battle during the first three-eighths of the mile in Thursday’s (Jan. 12) $30,000 Mares Open Handicap at Miami Valley on Thursday, Rose Run Vision emerged victorious, sealing a 20-1 upset.
