The Florida Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association  hosted tributes to two Florida legends of the past, Melvyn Aylor and Tom Audley, in the form of Stakes races for 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds.

The Logan County Fair at Bellefontaine, OH will host harness racing in 2024 after an absence of four years.

Driver Andy Miller and trainer Cody Schadel teamed up to win three Pennsylvania Fair Finals races on Monday (Oct. 9) afternoon at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania. There were eight Fair Finals on the card on the day, each carrying a purse of $25,000.

The Maine Sire Stakes made its final appearance in front of capacity crowds on Friday and Saturday (Oct. 6 and 7) at the Fryeburg Fair in preparation for the rich finals next week.

Once again, First Tracks Cumberland welcomes the $200,000-plus Maine Sire Stakes for 2-year-old Pine Tree State-bred harness horses on Saturday, being held on the final day of the 151st Cumberland Fair.

Up-and-coming reinsman Winter Asher-Stalbaum won the swiftest race of the day with Zack Vickerson’s Beach Fire K in 1:55.1 on Tuesday (Sept. 26) at Cumberland Fair.

Walter Case Jr. and Drew Campbell each won three races on Monday (Sept. 25) during the second day of racing at the Cumberland Fair, giving the veteran reinsmen victories in two-thirds of the racing card.
