Undefeated sophomore pacing phenom Massive Speed added another notch to his belt on Wednesday (Sept. 3) at Bangor Raceway, showing his heels to the field in his $17,000-plus division of the Maine Sire Stakes for 3-year-old pacing colts and geldings.

The draw for the $2.4 million New York Sire Stake finals is complete and 61 of the top state-bred 2- and 3-year old trotters and pacers have been declared and will go postward at Batavia Downs on Saturday (Sept. 6). The eight divisions will be contested for $300,000 each and the first race on Saturday is a 6 p.m.

A very successful 48 day harness meet at Ocean Downs came to a close Wednesday, September 3, 2025 with a dual celebration of the leading trainer and driver at the popular vacation land oval.

Live racing action returns to Rosecroft Raceway on Monday (Sept. 15). Racing will be conducted each Monday and Thursday through December 18 with the usual 7:15 p.m. post time. There will be no racing on Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving).
