Due to another strong storm, Cal Expo has canceled Friday night’s (Jan. 13) program.

Live racing has been canceled at Woodbine Mohawk Park for Thursday evening (Jan. 12) due to unsafe track conditions caused by rain and unseasonably warm weather. ​

Woodbine Mohawk Park has rescheduled this Friday’s (Jan. 13) qualifiers to Saturday (Jan. 14) at 10 a.m.

The Meadows Race Office has released its list of 2023 Early/Late Closing Series. The Spring Series events are always the precursor to the summer stakes schedule. As in past years, we are offering eight events, in two groups of four.

The 15-day session will run through Monday (Feb. 27) and operate on a Monday-Thursday schedule. Post time for each race day is set at 3 p.m.
