Here is this week’s Meadows Monday Memo.

The Meadowlands Racetrack and the SBOA of NJ will again cooperate to provide access to the racetrack for those horsemen wishing to train their young horses over the oval during the month of May, beginning on Thursday (May 4).

Attention horsemen: If you are bringing horses onto the Oak Grove property, it is required by the state of Kentucky that they have a current EIA (Coggins) test dated within the last 12 months and a health paper for each animal entering.

When a ferocious thunderstorm descended on The Meadowlands Saturday (April 15) just after the first race, things looked gloomy for the track’s streak of consecutive nights where handle exceeded $3 million.

Condition sheets are now available for the first two qualifying dates and the opening weekend of Eldorado Scioto Downs’ 2023 racing season.
