A total of 32 rule and bylaw change proposals have been submitted to the U.S. Trotting Association and will be voted upon by the full board of USTA Directors in March at the 2024 annual meeting in Columbus, Ohio.

It is with sadness that Bluestone Farms reports the death of Neverhaveneverwill (Big Towner-Keystone Wallis-Albatross). She was euthanized after many months of treatment for a navicular cyst and a calcified tendon. She was 28 years old.

The American Horse Council is requesting that all harness racing participants and Standardbred owners complete the AHC’s National Impact Study Survey, which will do a special breakout of Standardbreds and harness racing.

Lester J. Wright, 84, of Cochranton, died, Friday (Sept. 1) at the Meadville Medical Center. Born at home in Venango County, he was the son of Joseph G. and Alice M. Deeter Wright. He married Nancy Rice on November 2, 1962 and she survives.
