MHRI silent auction features Dan Patch-era sulky and more
The MHRI annual meeting and awards banquet at Running Aces is this Saturday (Feb. 22). In addition to dinner and awards, the organization is holding a silent auction with proceeds going toward the MHRI Benevolence Fund. The fund benefits horses and horsemen in need when circumstances beyond their control find them in such situations.
Esau Cooper Jr., 85, dies
Heaven’s gate opened for Esau Cooper, Jr., 85, of Auburn, who peacefully joined his beloved wife, Diana Jo Cooper, on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025. Though we grieve his absence here, we find solace knowing he is finally reunited with the love of his life, where their bond will forever bloom in the light of God’s grace.
