The MHRI annual meeting and awards banquet at Running Aces is this Saturday (Feb. 22). In addition to dinner and awards, the organization is holding a silent auction with proceeds going toward the MHRI Benevolence Fund. The fund benefits horses and horsemen in need when circumstances beyond their control find them in such situations.

Heaven’s gate opened for Esau Cooper, Jr., 85, of Auburn, who peacefully joined his beloved wife, Diana Jo Cooper, on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025.
